Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese business owner living in Orange County California. Alongside my amazing partner JP and my jolly dad Henry. My Instagram account @annephung is where I am most popular with my followers. I post about my daily life, my good and bad days. My parents brought my family to America in the year 1990 when I was just a year old. It wouldn't be possible to share my story to you now if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. Since I was confident that I would be a successful person I set out to succeed and make my parents happy. My life was set out: I would study at university, land a job in a corporation, marry and buy an apartment. I figured that was the definition of success. However, however, life has other plans to teach me what success meant. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was one I had a fear of. Money and status didn't bring me happiness. I thought I wasted my time to make a living. While navigating my way through a different direction in my career, I found that I was supposed to become a personal trainer. I loved exercise, I loved having fun and I enjoy helping people. My business was founded in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its 7th birthday this year. It's not common to see an Asian woman in this business. Within the field of coaching I'm determined to change the world by providing quality training to assist others in becoming healthier and more content. It is my goal to encourage others to chase their goals and lead the lives they've always wanted. My career was beginning to take off, I had the biggest loss in my life: my mother's passing away. To be in Heaven she is now in peace following an eight-year fight against Scleroderma. Yet, I keep my Mom with me and dream about her each day. It's amazing how the world will teach us the exact lesson we need, even when we don't realize it. In so many ways, my mother's passing changed me. It is my belief that she gave me another opportunity to be a part of her story after she passed away. Her death occurred on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. This was her moment to enter her next life. I got my second chance at living an enjoyable and fulfilling life. As I enter my 30's, I feel more alive than I ever have. I can truly say that I live now rather than just existing as I did in the past. My intention in the story I am sharing is to inform you that you're not the only one. I hope that you believe that love is real and that therapy can be normal. Your health is truly the most important asset you have. Because death is all that we can have I wish you a great time in living your life to the fullest and leave without regrets.
